As for basic type mild steel welding electrode AWS E6013,almost all electrode plant have the ability to produce
this material,but quality between them is varied.The main key of good quality is: using of good raw materials,
professional technics capacity and precise formula.
As for raw materials such as steel, actually steels for producing welding consumables is specially designed
and produced, with good characteristic of high composition accuracy ,little impurities & peticular grade suitable
for welding domain, better than some other type such as construction steels.H08A is the right steel material for
AWS E6013.Consustrution steel Q235 is similar with H08A.
As for welding technical capacity,for a good supplier,they must have at least one welding technician to guide &
supervise,deep in the level to analyse and control chemical / mechanical properties,to make sure professional
welding performance.Actual situation for small plants is that,there is no any technican,only some experienced
worker who ever worked in big plant,produces only with their own past experience.
As for formula of welding electrode,this is a important element to evalute the product quality level of a supplier,it
directly result in the quality standard a plant can attain.
As for vertical down welding position,almost all plant in China can not do for no this formula.As far as we know
only three or four big plant can do,Tientai and atlantic etc.

As for AWS E7018,this is also a high efficient electrodes welding of Medium carbon steel structures.Some
suppliers produce E7016 grade and regard this as E7018,and price is low much,but it can not reach high
efficiency.You will use one more pieces to welding same unit steel struture than use one piece of E7018
grade electrode.We hope clients noted this.
As for stainless steel welding electrodes and cast iron welding electrodes,we can do these materials with
precise formula,quality is ok and it liked by clients.
As for Low alloy Grade welding electrodes,we think this is also a criterion to know technics level of a supplier.
Due to specific requirement of metal composition,suppliers must have the ablities to order given metal
composition of raw materials and match the need for welding special alloyed steel structures for clients’
